The Breast Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons Association of India (BRASA) is a multidisciplinary body dedicated to advancing the standards of breast surgery in India. Founded with the vision of unifying breast care specialists under one roof, BRASA is committed to enhancing knowledge, promoting collaboration, and improving patient outcomes in the field of breast reconstruction, oncology, and aesthetic surgery.

Who Can Become a Member (Eligibility Criteria)

Membership is open to all healthcare professionals with a serious interest or specialization in breast diseases and surgery, including:

• Breast Surgeons
• Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons
• General Surgeons with an interest in breast surgery
• Onco-surgeons
• Medical and Radiation Oncologists
• Radiologists and Pathologists involved in breast disease management
• Residents and Postgraduate Trainees
• Researchers in related fields

International applicants involved in breast care or surgery are also welcome to join under the International Membership category.

Termination or Suspension of Membership

Membership may be terminated if:

• Member is found violating BRASA’s code of conduct or ethics
• False documents or credentials are submitted
• Non-payment of dues after reminders (for annual members)

Reinstatement may be considered upon formal review and submission of a written request to the BRASA Executive Committee.
