BRASA in a short span of few years has grown into a dynamic, progressive and vibrant organisation in the field of Breast Care. Awareness about Breast related problems both oncologic and aesthetic have grown leaps and bound in India. From good old days where Breast Surgeons were only involved in cancer surgery to the present day specialist breast care in form of oncoplastic reconstruction, Breast Oncology and aesthetic Breast Surgery we have come a long way.
Our association intends to bridge this knowledge gap and unite specialists involved in Breast Diseases i.e. General Surgeons, Onco surgeons, Plastic Surgeons, Radiation & Medical Oncologists, Radiologists and Pathologists together under one umbrella . Our motto is “That all specialists speak the same language of Breast Diseases Management with a desire to teach and learn from each other”.
Our Objectives include
BRASA what started out as a personal initiative of our founder President Dr Mahesh Mangal and Dr Bhagwat Mathu, has grown into a national organisation of repute, in a short span of time. I would request all of you to bring in your Breast team colleagues and residents as members and strengthen our association. Our membership is open to all medical practitioners of breast multi-disciplinary team and individuals in care of breast diseases.
Once again, looking forward to your support and suggestions in taking our association forward and to serving the society to the maximum.

Dear Friends,
It gives me immense pleasure to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Breast Reconstructive& Aesthetic Surgeons Asssociation of India.
We have been growing strong year after year with more and more Breast Surgeons joining us. The annual meeting of the association ‘ Brascon’ has now become an important event on the APSI calendar.
The next meeting will be held at Baroda from 24th to 26th Jan 2020. This will be a unique event as Brascon will be held for the first time in Gujarat.
The main aims of our association is to bring all Surgeons across various platforms who have a common interest in Breast surgery to a common forum. Further to educate the masses about the benefits of Breast Reconstruction and to learn from each other about the various advances and latest techniques emerging in Breast Surgery.
So, with these goals in mind, let us all embark on this journey of learning together..
